PROBLEM

  • Two critical fronts of asset management operations — investment-limit control and fund communication — required institutional-grade tools.
  • Limit monitoring had to operate around every trade, evaluating each order against regulatory and internal restrictions.
  • Mass factsheet generation relied on manual data collection from multiple Excel spreadsheets, consuming hundreds of man-hours, especially at market close.
  • Manual entry of returns and statistics increased the risk of inconsistencies with regulatory implications (CMF), and it was hard to keep a uniform visual identity across funds and managers.

SOLUTION

  • Funds IQ provides the pre- and post-trade compliance modules, evaluating each order against regulatory and internal limits around every trade.
  • Sense IQ automates the asset manager's factsheet generation: multi-format ingestion, integrated financial computation, and intelligent classification of managers and fund categories.
  • A high-fidelity generation engine with trend charts, asset allocation, and portfolio composition embedded in the PDF, plus multilanguage support (Spanish and English).
  • Regulatory connectivity (integration with the CMF API for UF values and official indicators), asynchronous batch processing, and full historical traceability of each report.

RESULTS

  • Two platforms in production on a single integrated core, covering compliance and reporting.
  • Trade compliance embedded around every order, reducing regulatory exposure preventively.
  • Automatic monthly factsheet generation for the entire fund lineup, with accuracy and brand consistency.
  • One of Chile's leading financial groups runs its limit control and fund reporting on Abaqus infrastructure.
